HEAT SIPHON is QUIETER than MOST POOL PUMPS!!

The compressor is also a source of noise by transmitting its rotational vibration to the cabinet and through the copper tubing. If metal cabinets are used they can even amplify low frequency vibration creating a drumming or beat frequency. Heat Siphon's compressors are mounted using special rubber isolation feet to elmininate vibration transmision.

Heat Siphon's thick solid PVC vacuum-formed cabinet further reduces sound levels and absorbs any higher frequency noise instead of amplifying it.

HEAT SIPHON HISTORY - In 1983 Heat Siphon became the first pool heat pump to use an ALL PVC vacuum-formed cabinet. The original molds were made out of 4 inch thick cherry wood using a router and belt sander. Molds are now made in-house out of aluminum with CNC milling equipment.

Second - Heat Siphon Engineers designed noise quieting into the product by studying the sources of noise in outdoor air conditioning and heat pump systems and reducing or eliminating the causes of all major sources.

The fan blades create a lot of noise if they are close to any stationary objects. Heat Siphon uses a specially made staggered fan mount which eliminates multi-blade noise to make it whisper quiet.
