WIRING a 240V GFCI Breaker
(3 Terminal - HOT,
Neutral, HOT)
Recently new hot-nuetral-hot type Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt (GFCI) breakers have been miswired
causing them to trip and set off the HSS error on the Digital
Heat Siphon Player Controller.
If an electrician miswires the GFCI breaker,
your Digital Heat Siphon Player will detect this as a short circuited
coil and prevent itfrom starting .
To ensure this does not happen please follow
these steps when wiring a GFIC hot-nuetral-hot 240volt breaker:
FOUR Simple Steps
1. Install GFCI breaker
in power panel
2. Connect the WHITE CONTROL pigtail wire from GFCI to the Grounding
bar.
3. Connect the two
BLACK wires from the Heat Siphon to the two LOAD or "HOT" lugs on the breaker
4. Run the GREEN wire from the
Heat Siphon to the GROUNDING BAR in the power panel.
LEAVE the Breaker's NEUTRAL LUG UNCONNECTED.
